More information can be found at: Monroe County Lead Hazard Control & Healthy Home GrantMonroe County will provide Lead and Healthy Home funding up to $5500 to eligible City of Rochester residential property owners who own pre-1978 housing units with 1 or more bedrooms that have lead hazards. The Monroe County Department of Public Health was awarded Lead Based Paint Hazard Control Funds by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Monroe County will provide Lead and Healthy Home funding up to $5500 to eligible City of Rochester residential property owners who own pre-1978 housing units with 1 or more bedrooms that have lead hazards. The primary housing objectives are to incorporate Lead Hazard Control, Healthy Home Interventions and Energy Efficiency measures into 350 City of Rochester housing units occupied or to be occupied by low income tenants with young children. All lead hazard control work will be conducted by EPA Certified Lead Abatement and Renovation Firms. Click on the link below for further information and application.
